  • Use a computer-based 16-channel mobile system running Digital Performer and Peak;
  • Combine traditional and experimental mic techniques as dictated by each situation.
Audio/Video Technician
AV Services Unit, School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Nov 2003 to present; Member of a team which provides all AV services to Med School including internet video conferencing, theatrical light and sound, and full-scale video and DVD production.
  • Use of Final Cut Pro 4.0, DVD Studio Pro 2.0 and After Effects 6.0;
  • Use of RealNetworks encoding to deliver video sessions to the University website.

Exhibit & Media Coordinator
80 Washington Square East, Broadway Windows and Washington Square Windows Galleries, New York University, 1991 to 2003; Led team in the installation, lighting design and photo documentation of over 100 art shows annually at these three gallery locations.
  • Webmaster: design and manage site 'www.nyu.edu/pages/galleries' for 6 years;
  • Extensive experience with 35mm, digital still photography and digital video;

Freelance Audio Engineer

  • Research and purchase all microphones and equipment for a portable DA-88 system;
  • Mixed and delivered three jazz concert projects.
Audio/Video Solutions, Media PA, 2002 - 2003; Run AV for meetings and conferences in Philadelphia area. Setup and operation of video projectors, laptops and PA systems for Powerpoint presentations in any sized room.
Sony Music Studios, New York - Classical Division, 2000; Perform transfer of digital audio data between many formats and media. Perform quality control on pre-master CDs.
  • Transfer to and authoring of Sony's proprietary Super-Audio CD format;

M.M., New York University, 2000, Music Technology - Tonmeister Honors Program, Computer Minor. Focus on digital audio transmission and processing as well as Classical recording practice. Use of Sonic Solutions for precision audio editing from production notes. Remote recording of weekly concerts.
  • Thesis topic: Classical recording for surround sound;
  • Built custom microphone brackets as theoretical needs arose;
  • Explored computer music composition/interaction in independent study:
